RICHARD BONA - is a bassist from Cameroon. He was born into a family of musicians. His family was poor so Bona made his own instruments out of strings and old motocycle parts. He started playing at 5yrs old and assembled his first Jazz ensemble at age 11. He has studied in Germany and France, and perfomed with greats such as Jaco Pastorius.
